Why are using palm kernel oil in your product if ur brand is organic? Do u know how much deforestation the production of palm oil and its derivatives contribute to??
HI Mam, thanks for you enquiry. Sure our product is completely organic and so is palm kernel oil by itself. Our main purpose of using palm kernel oil in our product is nothing but to increase the viscosity and lathering ability of the soap. Please note the amount of palm kernel oil in the entire product is less than 5%, the product mainly is built up from coconut and castor oil. However, without traces of palm kernel oil, the required pouring viscosity is not achieved. As our brand grows, we intend to use palm kernel oil which is only produced by the required afforestation required to compensate for the damage. We at Oleic Organic Sciences, have taken a big step in the direction of making our product completely preservative free! I hope you will definitely appreciate this. We would definitely request you to try your futuristic product !
If you have further queries, we are glad to answer.
