What is the specialty of our two-chambered bottles for the liquid soap and shampoos?

An innovative step towards modernization of traditional knowledge.

We are all used to products which we happily use without knowing any of their benefits (or harm) on our skin, let alone on the environment.

From body-washes to “beauty bars”, the reality behind them is dark. In the cosmetic world these products, which we so happily use are known as “syndet”, meaning synthetic detergents. Yes, the products sold as body-washes, beauty bars, cleansers, shampoos, whatever glorified name you call, are all detergents. These detergents, more often than not, use sulphate and paraben containing ingredients, derived from petroleum products.

These strip of skin of all its natural oil and are non-biodegradable and devastating for the environment. It is surprising to see, that these brands often claim their products to be milder and gentler on the skin, and demonize the good old natural soap to be harsh and drying.

There is absolutely no scientific basis of these claims, other than money spent on indiscriminate advertising. The modern consumer is more conscious and alert of their choices and wants to be more responsible buyer. Our earth needs better protection and so does our skin. So why demonize the good old soap, produced by a saponification of vegetable oil and alkali, which is a perfectly biodegradable option, safe for our skin and environment.

What argument does the commercial manufacturer (SYNDET) give against natural soap?

They argue that natural soaps are too alkaline in the pH and thereby harsh on the skin as the pH of the skin is slightly acidic. The other thing being, that natural soaps are too drying for the skin. Although, not really true in the proper sense of the word, most of the natural products being handmade, it is often difficult to control the parameters involved and come up with a precisely balanced formula.

There is often gap for the standardization, quality control and technical precision in the process.

Our approach:
Our approach is mainly based on bridging the technological gap in the production of the natural and organic products. For the liquid soap based product that we are coming up with, our novel design and quality control ensures the following –

– The double chambered mixing mechanism offers a real time control of pH of the soap. Our liquid soap based products are pH adjusted up to 7.5 against the pH of 9.5 of the other natural soaps available in the market. This means our soaps are almost 100 times less alkaline than other soaps in the market.

Note that, soaps can never have acidic pH. Some syndet body wash products claim of acidic pH. However, commercial soaps are not soap at all, so their pH doesn’t matter.

  • Our products are specially designed to leave and enhance natural oil of the skin and can be in no way drying for the skin.
  • Very importantly, our products allow the addition of a multitude of additives to the formulation, in their native and purest form, and due to the dual chamber mechanism does not let the additives lose its effectiveness over a period of time. It is all like freshly prepared, throughout its entire shelf life.
  • Last but not the least, all these modifications enhance the quality and shelf-life of the products, without any rancidity and microbial degradation taking place in the shelf life of the product.
