
Our Story
Oleic Organic Sciences (OOS), is newly founded (September 2021) personal and skin care company, with an absolutely modern outlook to the traditional science of skincare. The company has been founded by Dr. Kunal Pal, an ex-IITM alumnus, with a Ph.D. degree in Chemistry from a reputed University in Austria, Europe. It is co-founded by his father Mr. Krishna Kanu Pal and Mrs. Anjali Rani Pal.
The entire philosophy of OOS, is rooted in the nomenclature of the company. The word “Oleic” is derived from Oleic Acid, an essential component of almost all vegetable oil, is the most common fatty unsaturated acid found in Nature. Hence the basis of our products is naturally occurring or derived substances, primarily vegetable oils and fats. However, the other two words “Organic” and “Sciences” represents our methods and technology.
Our methods are essentially organic, with almost no use of synthetically derived products, with due adherence to environmental safety, but the methodology is modern, with smart technological inputs which uses modern day science to this end. Hence we strive to give a whole new direction to the field of organic skin care industry which caters to the need of the modern day consumers. Our products are futuristic.

Brand Philosophy
The Mission and Vision of Oleic Organic Sciences can be summarized as:
- The brand distinguishes itself as one adhering to all tenets of science, encouraging and living by the associated scientific principles in the course of delivering its products.
Our brand is one which applies modern scientific research to develop products which are inherently organic, non-toxic, bio-degradable and discourages usage of synthetic ingredients to the maximum possible extent. Our brand is neither too traditional in their approach, nor too chauvinistic towards application of modern science that is too far from Nature. Our brand tries to bridge this gap, bringing tradition and modern technology under the same umbrella.
To support our claim, we have tried to develop entirely new avatar of body washes and shampoos which achieve many objectives without use of any manipulative or synthetic ingredients. (Patent Application NO 202131054845)
2. The brand not only tries to solve certain problems the modern generation faces while using skin care products, but is at the same time futuristic in its approach. Our products are essentially bio-degradable and for the products like body wash and shampoos, require much less water for wash-off, which encourages the user towards water conservation.
3. The brand doesn’t compromise with the safety of the products on its user. We invest in buying the best quality raw materials from trusted suppliers, at least laboratory grade chemicals for the manufacturing purpose, and undertaking rigorous in-vitro efficacy and microbial tests in accredited laboratories before bringing out the product in the market.
4. The brand is conscious of the aesthetic appeal of the product apart from being effective. Continuous trials are undertaken to make the products aesthetically pleasing. The user might acknowledge that there are many challenges the chemist faces to balance the effectiveness and aesthetics of the product. Since the bottom line of our philosophy is tradition meeting technology, we toil hard in the laboratories to make this happen.
5. There is Novelty associated with our products, it is not simply repackaging some known formulation. We try out multitude of compositions before coming out with a final one. It would be our constant quest to give a touch of novelty for everything we bring out.
6. Oleic Organic Sciences –the brandname, summarizes essentially hat are doing. ‘Oleic” come from the word Oleic Acid, an important component in all vegetable oils like coconut, castor, safflower, olive etc. This is chosen to implicate that natural oils are at the heart of our composition. The word ‘organic” basically indicates the non-toxic and naturality of our products. “Sciences” indicate the technological innovations we are developing to make our products suitable for the modern consumer.
